Laptop/free gift deliveries


Waiting for your laptop/free gift? You've come to the right place.The FAQs below tell you when you'll get your laptop/free gift, what happens if you're not home and more. 


How will my laptop/free gift be delivered?


  • Deliveries are made weekdays (excluding bank holidays) during normal working hours (9am to 5:30pm) by City Link. Unfortunately we can't specify exact times slots.
  • Make sure that someone is available to receive the delivery and sign for it. If not, City Link will leave a card for you to rearrange delivery.

Can I have the laptop/free gift delivered to an address other than my home address?


No. We can only deliver the laptop/free gift to the address that we credit checked when you signed up to the offer.

What if I'm not home when you deliver the laptop/free gift?


  • City Link will leave a card saying that they tried to deliver the laptop/free gift, and they will try to deliver it again the next working day.
  • If you miss the next delivery, they'll leave another card. This time they will keep the laptop/free gift at their depot for five working days. You can either collect it yourself or arrange for a re-delivery.

What if I don't contact City Link within five days of the second failed delivery?


  • They’ll return the laptop/free gift to us and we’ll contact you again to arrange a new delivery.
  • If we can’t get in touch with you, we’ll return your order on our system and refund you the same way you paid (for example, if you paid for the delivery charge, we’ll refund you that amount) – if you paid by cash we’ll refund you by cheque.

What if I want my order to arrive sooner?


Unfortunately, we can’t send your laptop/free gift any earlier. This is because we automatically deliver your laptop/free gift once your broadband is installed.

How can I track my order?


Call our Tracking team on 0845 601 0410 and ask for your City Link job number. You can then track your laptop/free gift on www.city-link.co.uk
