My phone was lost - with Lifeline Insurance

Call your network provider within 24 hours to bar your handset so calls and texts can't be made from it. Ask for your phone's IMEI number if you do not know it because you will need it to make your claim.
  • Report your loss to the police within 48 hours and get a Lost Reference Number.
  • They can give you one over the phone or you can get one in your local police station.
  • You must give them your phone's IMEI, details of where it was lost and, if possible, the phone number of the place where you lost it.

If for any reason you cannot get a lost reference number from the police, make sure you get the name of the officer you reported the loss to, their badge number and the police station's telephone number. If you can report the loss to another authority then please do this as well.

Make your claim. You can do this in three ways.

Please note: When you make a claim, we'll need your name, date of birth, address and the policy number as shown on your Certificate of Insurance, so please make sure you have these ready.
